Our founding Pastor, the late Rev. Booker T. Anderson had vision to establish a church committed to the fundamental teaching of scripture.  Our founder believed that as long as Christ remains the head and our steps ordered by scripture, the church would stand.  That is exactly what Unity has done.  It has stood for over 56 years on the these fundamental tenets. Unity has not been influenced by ministry fads aimed at attracting members.  Jesus said if I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me. 

Today our church through God’s grace, has the unique opportunity to build on the foundation that has been built, while evolving to meet the needs of a ever evolving community with complex needs.

Guided by the vision of our senior Pastor, Unity is pressing forward to meet the needs of this present age by taking the transformative truth of the gospel to the lost and the dying.
